Code of Conduct
~~~ Real Life ~~~
We understand that our members have life outside of this Guild and we strongly believe that real life issues always come first but we’d appreciate it if you can inform us ahead of time just in case you will be gone for a while. It is hard to guess whether you’re just busy preparing for your Board Examinations or perhaps taking a nice vacation in The Bahamas so a quick and short message to a Guild Leader, Guild Commander, Admiral, Vice Admiral or Captain members before you take the plunge would be greatly appreciated!
~~~ Respect and Fair Play ~~~
All members must respect all members and non members. This Guild does not condone violations of the (CoC) of any kind. This includes (but is not limited to) discrimination based on race, age, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or any other personal interest, or investment. All members are entitled to a professional level of fairness. You may not be intimidated “in any way”. This is strictly enforced.
This Guild has a Zero Tolerance policy for cheating, hacking / exploits of any type and scams. This rule covers players who use code to manipulate a particular game for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage over other teams and players. Wall Hacks, Speed Hacks and Aim Bots are just examples of the types of cheats covered by this agreement. “Testing” or “Trying Out” Hack Programs are NOT accepted excuses. Any member caught using hacks, cheating or scamming other members / players will result to a Lifetime Ban and your information be shared to our allies and/or any third party, whenever deemed necessary.
~~~ Zero Drama ~~~
We have Absolute Zero Tolerance for members that are causing issues in this Guild with other members or for the Guild as a whole. We are here to have fun in a game, so please be on your best behavior. We understand that there are issues associated with any game, but please do not spew negativity or start arguments, as it will bring everyone down and take away the joy of the game. Our Guild Leader, Guild Commanders, Admirals, Vice Admirals and Captains are more than happy to address any member’s concerns as long as they are addressed through private messages or private one on one discussion on the platform or Discord. Not only does this allow us to address your problems quicker and more efficiently, it also prevents fights and useless debates from breaking out within the Guild.
You will only be warned once by one of our Guild Leader, Guild Commanders, Admirals, Vice Admirals or Captains and if you continue to cause drama you will be permanently removed from the Guild which includes bans from accessing our Discord, Website, Forums and other Vital Guild Resources.
~~~ Multi-Clanning ~~~
All MEMBERS in the are NOT permitted to be a part of another guild or clan. You are however allowed and encouraged to join other communities and gaming organization while in The Gamers Guild. All members must wear the TGG clan tag. Competitive Members are not permitted be in any other team(s) while on the same ladder as TGG.
~~~ Leadership Roles ~~~
All leadership roles are expected to display proper conduct, leadership skills, and a high level of professionalism at all times. Accepting a leadership position is a choice, and more importantly a privilege. Additionally, you may be asked to step down at any time. If you cannot handle the responsibility of the job, rank, or title, please don’t accept the position. If your situation has changed and can no longer do the position then you may request to step down. Representing This Guild in a Leadership Role is a highly valued privilege that requires a lot of responsibility. It is your job to help encourage productivity within the Guild.
If you are found to be abusing your power which includes unnecessarily kicking of members from the guild, unfair treatment, favoritism or harassing our members will be subjected to disciplinary actions, suspension and/or termination of your membership.
~~~ Age Restriction ~~~
This guild has an age restriction of 14 years old. However; you must 16 years old or older to be a on a Squad for competitions or to hold a rank of Admiral, Vice Admiral, or Captain. You must be 18 years old or older to be in the position of Guild Leader or Guild Commander. All age restrictions are strictly enforced. Any member that falsely joins a squad or accepts a rank under age will be removed without question. This member will be subject to dismissal from the Guild.
~~~ Competitive Rewards and Fees ~~~
All rewards available to any member of the Competitive Squads is subject to sole discretion of the Guild Leader. If an item is to be sent in reward for a tournament, competition or completion of a goal of the guild; it is up to the receiver(s) to notify the Guild Leader with the address of which they want to item to be received at. The receiver(s) of such gifts have the option to return the reward to the guild and such action would be counted as donation to the guild. The reward will be then used for another tournament or reward.
All Competitive members are responsible for their own entry fee(s) if no agreement exist between the Guild Leader and the Member and/or Team to cover such fee(s).
~~~ Agreement ~~~
This guild is not responsible for the actions of the individuals within this guild whether its verbal or written. However any member in Violation of this Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary actions of the "Guild Leadership". All members or users using this website agree to follow this Code of Conduct.
